Welcome to our website. We have more than 20 years experience in professional furniture design. From 2002 our workshop has been based in St Ives in West Cornwall, where the artistic vibe is felt to be advantageous to our work ethic.
Tomas & Jani house renovations are gradually becoming renowned for their old rustic style: unwanted beams, rough hewn stones, abandoned floor and roof tiles, all reclaimed materials that are utilised into 'new' houses designed by Jani Lemut.
Traditional in appearance yet compliant with the demands of modern day living. Their rustic simplicity belies a design of contemporary sophistication, full of the newest concealed features – under-floor heating, cutting edge lighting and kitchens.
Such features lend these homes a magical quality; when old materials do not lend themselves to his contemporary plans he develops a way of ensuring that the new ones look sympathetic with the patina of time – ageing doors, floors, shutters, staircases and furniture. Mostly hands on, Jani employs the finest stonemasons, joiners and blacksmiths to create these effects.
